I have lived in Cincinnati for going on 20 years. We settled here after my husband completed his commitment in the Army at Ft. Knox (he had a military scholarship for medical school) and joined a surgical practice here. I work for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as a neonatologist in the Perinatal Institute, and co-director of the Center for Breastfeeding Medicine. I am also Associate Director of Quality Improvement at the University of Cincinnati Medicine Center NICU.
Though our careers have certainly kept us busy, our proudest accomplishments are our two grown sons. Our oldest is a recent graduate of University of Dayton (where he was also a football player) and is now settling into “adulting” outside of Philadelphia with a career in finance. Our younger son is following his love of the culinary arts and is a cook at The Precinct–a high-end Cincinnati steakhouse.
I am looking forward to reconnecting with many of you on the upcoming reunion weekend (bonus that it is also Halloween and that I will get to celebrate one of my favorite occasions with my nieces and nephews)!
