Hello Friends! It has been so fun to read all your updates. 40 years is hard to fathom, and I believe every wrinkle and gray hair has a story to tell! My story includes 25 years of marriage to Lee. We have raised two techie sons, the elder, fully launched and working in the Philly ‘burbs of South Jersey, and the younger, a junior at UMass whose passion is playing snare in their most excellent drumline. Our family’s home base is Morristown, a place I have come to love as much as Summit. I am currently employed as an ABS (Assistant Behavioral Specialist) with young children in the Morris School District where I get to use my experience in education without the headaches of a full teaching position. It is rewarding work, but not for the faint of heart! My parents, now 88 and 87, continue to live independently on Evergreen Road, and I am still besties with Alex Mijs Queripel! As for interests, I am happiest on a quiet trail in the woods or engaging in a deep conversation with friends. I am learning to embrace a life lived simply, authentically and present to each moment. I look forward to hearing more of your stories on November 1.
