It’s very nice to hear what everyone has been up to. I have been very busy these last 40 years as well.
I went to x-ray school out of high school and got married when I was 20. My husband Matt and I have been living in Bridgewater, N.J. for 36 years and we just celebrated our 37th anniversary.
We have five kids, two girls (Kim and Lauren) and three boys (Ryan, Sam and Ben). All of whom are out on their own, and all living in NJ. They are very close to one another and we get together with everyone and their significant others often.
I worked part time when the kids were little, but then stopped due to the kids very active sports schedules. When my youngest was 9, I decided to go back perdium for University Radiology in Warren. It was a very flexible career while the kids were in school. In 2016 I took a full time position as the Lead Mammographer and I have been with the company for 16 years.
My greatest joy these days, is spending time with our three grandchildren, Nolan 3, Daisy 2 and Romeo 1. All given to us by my daughter Lauren and her husband Dylan. She is the only one who is currently married out of the five. I work four days a week and babysit for them on my Thursday’s off. My husband is partially retired, and also babysits two days a week. I’m not exactly sure when I’ll retire yet, because I do enjoy what I do.
I’m looking forward to the reunion and reconnecting, especially, with my old Wilson friends who will be coming from out of state.
