Hi Hilltoppers! It’s hard to believe we’re celebrating 40 years since graduation!

Since high school, life has been a beautiful and busy journey. I’ve been married 36 years and together my husband and I have raised two wonderful children — plus one additional blessing, my brother’s son, who lovingly call my Sonphew.

I started college right after high school but quickly decided it wasn’t the right time. Eventually, I went back, juggling a full-time job, marriage, and motherhood, and earned my bachelor’s degree. I’ve worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1987 with a brief five-year adventure in the financial world before returning to my true professional home. Currently, I work in compliance — where, yes, I get to tell people what to do (and love it!).

I’m also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where our mission is “Service to All Mankind.” Along the way, I also earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which allows me to serve others in a different way during the evenings.

Through all of life’s chapters, my greatest joy remains my family. I’m happiest when I’m with them — laughing, loving, and living fully.

I’m so looking forward to reconnecting and celebrating with all of you in November!
