I can’t believe it’s been 40 years since our high school graduation.
I have lived in beautiful Bend Oregon for seven years! Bend is a great town and we love it there though the winters (snow!) can be long. Both of our kids have graduated and launched far, far away. Our son Henry is a high school English teacher in Japan and our daughter Emily is getting her Master’s Degree in London.
Lance and I have run our own small website design/development company for 10 years! Our clients are all small businesses, non-profits and progressive political organizations. We love the work and it affords us a great, flexible lifestyle along with the sense of giving back to our community. I volunteer with my golden retriever, Tilly as a Pet Partners therapy team as well which we both love. The biggest news though is that after many years of research and paperwork, I have been granted recognition as an Italian citizen and now have my Italian passport. My passion is all things Italy, because of my family but also because of the time I have spent there. I am working on being a fluent Italian speaker. As a passion project, I have started a concierge consultancy business of helping other people with their citizenship recognition and with Italian travel itineraries.
