Can’t believe it’s been almost 40 years!
Aside from a couple years after college in DC and CT I have lived in Summit. My kids, Brittany(30) and Brian(27) went to Franklin, The Middle School(formerly junior high, now Lawton C Johnson middle school), and SHS. They both had either some teachers I did or people I/we all grew up with as their teachers.
I have a masters degree in social work and worked as a school social worker before having my daughter and being a mom. In my younger days I volunteered for anything and everything I could in the schools and around town. These days I play lots of pickleball, keep in touch with several HS friends, love to travel as a family and also alone with my husband Sam, walk and play with our new puppy and spend time with extended family all in the area.
