Hello Hilltoppers! Congratulations to all of us for electing Beth 40 years ago.
I took a long and winding road through college but eventually graduated from the Harvard of north eastern Pennsylvania. Then I got a law degree. Not knowing what to do with that, my girlfriend suggested that I meet a smart, accomplished guy who worked in her office. He said the legendary words “I know a lot of guys who aren’t that smart and make good money on Wall Street”. That comment became a career for me and that clever girlfriend became my wife, Allison.
We lived and worked in NYC where our daughter, Joely, was born. Joely has come full circle and now lives in the city about two blocks away from the hospital where she was born. She works in finance. By that time, I was already working in Greenwich, CT and growing tired of the reverse commute. We made the move first to Ridgefield, CT, where our son Luke was born, and then to Armonk, NY, where our kids went all the way through the school system. A couple of years ago, we moved one town over to Bedford. Luke is a senior at Virginia Tech.
In my free time I love to ski, hike, bike, chop wood and do jobs around the house. Oh, and of course Wordle.
I am very grateful to still be in touch with an awesome group of Hilltoppers and have enjoyed reading all of these updates!
See you at the big 4-0!
