Richard de Reyna

After college, I worked in NYC where I met, fell in love with and married Elaine Ezzo from Hamilton Township NJ. She captivated my heart with her cheeky sense of humor and her Jersey Girl resilience. After I finished Business School we moved to Boston and had two sons. I grew fond of taking them hiking and camping nearby and they both became Eagle Scouts.

The oldest, Peter, is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and a heavy metal bassist for Seven Spires and OK Goodnight … that explains my “Metal Face” photo in the upper right. He lives in Burlington VT. My next son, John, currently works as a Pharmacy Technician at Boston Medical Center.

Last year, Peter offered me the chance to tour with Seven Spires (and 40 of their US “Superfans”) through 8 cities in Japan. It was as close to an “Almost Famous” experience as my middle-aged self was going to get, so I did it … that explains my “I’m with the Band” look on the heavy metal bus photo.

Although I’ve worked in Corporate Finance roles for over 30 years, I get more joy from hiking and I’ve been doing that locally and wherever I travel, which explains the bottom photo on Mt Mansfield with Peter last winter.

I look forward to seeing you at our 40th reunion and I can’t wait to hear your stories about life after SHS!
